Project: Creative Multimedia - Concept & Sketch

Believe it or not Avatar can be a powerful thing. Be it into any kind and personalities of avatar can quickly make a user immersed into the virtual world. It’s a quick addition to any adventure and best of all anyone can make it. Avatar is customizable, any style and decorated just how user want it. An avatar creation is so much more than a Sunday afternoon craft, it can spark creativity and imagination in a generation of lazy video gamers.

Our concept is about second life, avatar in the virtual world. That avatar is whoever the user wants to be. We decide to pick a contrast theme about the user and his/her avatar, for example in real world this user is a calm adn ordinary person, people barely know him. But in the virtual world he is a Legendary Orc warrior (we choose this character to show the contrass), rigorous character lots of user known him, they always wanted to go alongside with him. Or maybe vice versa, user is a big guy known as a harsh person, but in virtual world he has a cute character and always have a good mood personalities, everyone loves him there.

In our sketch we try to make a representation of our concept, and we decide to make a poster out of it...

First sketch that comes into our mind is a blend between user and his character, contrass but basically they're one.

this sketch show the user and his character in virtual came into real world.

So we try to create an image of how this avatar became real in reality itself by drawing them stand side by side with the user while the user connect to virtual world using his gadget

Another sketch of the avatar in real world

Then for the final ideation we decide to choose this sketch to represent our concept, using mirror as a "connection" to the virtual world. While the user in real world immersed, the mirror reflect his character rather than his real image, so we want to emphasize the contrass of the avatar.

In the end we decide to make a photo manipulation poster for the final output.
